This Data Policy explains how ChartCardio handles your data technically.

1. Data Sources

Crypto & Training Data: For our "Charts Training" and "Chart Duels" sections, we source market data exclusively from Binance.
Other Assets: For the general Trading Journal features involving other asset classes, we may fetch data from TradingView.

2. Data Storage and Security

Passwords: All user passwords are hashed before being stored in our database. We do not store plain-text passwords.
Auto-Login Keys: To improve your experience, we create a secure unique key based on your IP address and device details. This allows you to log in automatically without compromising security.
Database: We store your Journal entries, Training scores, and Duel results on our secure servers.

3. Data Tracking

We believe in granular analytics to help you improve. Therefore, we track:

Interactions: Every button press and answer selection is recorded.
Performance: Your success rates in recognizing concepts like BOS, FVG, and Order Blocks are calculated from this tracked data.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Indefinite Retention: Data related to your Training progress and Chart Duels is kept indefinitely. This allows you to track your long-term improvement.
User-Controlled Deletion:
- Journal Entries: If you delete a trade entry from your Journal, it is immediately removed from our database.
- Account: If you email us to request account deletion, we will remove your account and personal identifiers.

5. Third-Party Services

We use specific third-party tools to operate:

PHPMailer: Used to securely send automated system emails (verification, notifications).
Google Analytics: Used to monitor website traffic and user experience.
Data Providers: Binance and TradingView (for chart data only).
